We are all looking for ways to improve in 2017 and make it a great year. Hebrews 10 gives us some great reminders on how to connect spiritually with one another.
1. BELIEVE THE BIBLE!
This almost obvious starting point often evades us. Even when we read the Bible, we have doubts about it's promises. But remember, it is TRUE! Jesus Christ died so that we may have salvation. HE sits on the throne next to the Father and intercedes for us. HE is our high priest. So, "Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith." (Heb. 10:22)
2. TELL OTHERS ABOUT YOUR FAITH
Tell others about your faith through how you live your lives and the words you say. This not only encourages them in their walk, but will make your walk with God even stronger. Try today and start a conversation with someone about what you believe. Remember God is faithful. "Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful." (Heb. 10:23)
3. JOIN WITH OTHERS IN WORSHIP
Connect with others this year by joining a local community of Worship. Churches offer a support system for believers not only in spiritual matters but also in physical and emotional areas as well. "And let us be concerned about one another in order to promote love and good works, not staying away from our worship meetings as some habitually do, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day drawing near." (Heb. 10:24-25)
